A 49-year-old Sydney factory worker today claimed a $9 million Powerball
prize, 25 years after a psychic predicted the win.
The man from Cabramatta in Sydney's south-west, claimed his prize this morning, saying he's been expecting a windfall for years. "I've thought for a long time that I'd have a big win, but not this big", the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said in a statement. "It was predicted in my cards about 25 years ago".
The winner said he did not yet know how he would spend the cash.
